Prayer week 2026
Citykirken will again in 2026 participate in the week of prayer organized by Evangelisk Alliance Aarhus. Many of Aarhus' churches join together in prayer throughout a whole week with interdenominational events for everyone who wants to participate.
The Week of Prayer will be held from Sunday to Sunday January 11th-18th 2026 and this year's theme is God's faithfulness.
Open Homes
Are you new to church or curious to meet new people? Then sign up for Open Homes.
On the last Sunday of every month, some people from Citykirken will open up their homes to offer lunch and fellowship.
The price is 50 DKK to be paid on the day.
As a guest, you will be matched with a home before the day in question.

Holy Spirit Night
You can look forward to Holy Spirit Night on Sunday February 1st at 19:00.
Holy Spirit Night is an evening focusing on what the Holy Spirit can and will do today.
Come and join us in worshiping God and experiencing His presence through praise and prayer.
Everyone is welcome.
Tuesday prayer
Prayer is one of the pillars of our Christian life and of life as a church. That is why we meet for prayer on Tuesdays in even weeks at 2:00 PM in the Glass Hall. The topics are many and vary from time to time. We are open to prayer topics, but may stick to the topic of the day.
Next time is January 20th.
Everyone is welcome regardless of age or faith journey.

JOIN
- for those of you considering joining Citykirken
JOIN is an introductory course for you, regardless of whether you are new to the church or just never became a member.
At JOIN, you will be introduced to our vision, mission, theology, values, culture and have the opportunity to ask questions and talk to our priests. In addition, you have the opportunity to meet others who are new to the church.
We will also help you join one of our city groups, teams or anything else you may wish. The best way to join our community is to get involved.
Next time is Saturday February 21st at 9-14.Breakfast, coffee and lunch are served in connection with the course. Everyone is welcome and it's completely free. If you have questions about JOIN, you can email one of the pastors.
