Citykirken Classic

Tuesday October 7th we will pray together at Citykirken Aarhus.

Tuesday October 21st we will be visited by Hansa and Niels Vestergaard, who will regale us with stories from their life as former leaders of a Danish efterskole and the Rehab center, Betesda.

We meet at Citykirken's premises at 14 to approx. 16. Everyone is welcome.

Coffee and cake costs 30 DKK but otherwise Classic is free.

Kom og mød dine lokale politikere til en spændende aften med debat, dialog og nærvær d. 20.10.25 kl. 19.
Vi sætter fokus på, hvordan vi sammen kan styrke fællesskabet i Aarhus – på tværs af politik, kultur og engagement.

Panelet består af:

Aftenens temaer:
1. Sammen om Aarhus
Hvordan styrker vi samspillet mellem kommune og civilsamfund på socialområdet?
Når mennesker falder mellem stolene, hvem samler så op – og hvordan spiller kirker, foreninger og kommunen bedst sammen?

2. Frivillighed med hjerte
Er engagement og fællesskab vores stærkeste sociale kapital?
Hvad motiverer mennesker til at stille sig til rådighed for andre – og hvordan bevarer vi glæden og gnisten i det frivillige arbejde?

3. Ansigt til ansigt
Hvordan bliver forskellighed en styrke i Aarhus – og ikke en mur mellem os?
Kan vi genlære kunsten at tale sammen på tværs af tro, kultur og holdning – og skabe en by, hvor samtalen bærer fællesskabet?

Kom og deltag i samtalen – stil spørgsmål, del dine perspektiver og vær med til at forme fremtidens Aarhus!

Gospel service

NOTE: New date!

On Sunday October 12th from 14:00-15:30, we will have another gospel service in Citykirken and it will be awesome!

Gospel services are for everyone. Together with the gospel choir Saved by Grace and Nikolaj Kirkegaard Munk at the keys, the choir's conductor Charlotte Dahl Søby will lead the music, so that we can all open our eyes to what gospel music can do.

There will also be a short devotional, quiet time, prayer stations and time to be present in His presence.

We look forward to creating some unforgettable moments with you in a lovely community and ending in the café with coffee/tea and something sweet.

PULSE

Thursday November 27th at 17:30-20:00

Look forward to an evening focused on gratitude and community. We share our lives in church as a community and over a meal. Puls is for everyone who is interested in Citykirken.

Tilmelding i app’en senest mandag d. 24. november kl 12:00.
Price for the meal: Adults 50 DKK, kids under 12 years 25 DKK and students 35 DKK.

BOOST - if you would like a youth blessing

BOOST is an alternative or supplement to confirmation education for you if you would like to learn more about the Christian faith and do cool things with other young people.

BOOST starts in November and the youth blessing itself will be on Sunday May 3rd 2026.

It is free and everyone in the 7th grade is welcome.

New in faith?

As a new believer, it can be difficult to know where to go for knowledge. We want to help you with that.

Join our brand new course. It is Sundays from 9:45 to 10:15 in the pre-office on the 1st floor. There will be approximately 15-20 minutes of presentation and then an opportunity for questions. Of course, we'll finish so we can join the church service.

It is completely non-committal.

Stand with Ukraine

A huge effort is being made from all sides to help Ukrainians who have come to Denmark.

This also applies to Citykirken Aarhus. In close cooperation with Aarhus Municipality and various aid organisations, we are deeply involved in helping.
